The other day i joined 2 good friends for a little stroll around magic island. I played around with my Canon and instax mini90 while my friends had some newish gear they wanted to make use of. The waves were bringing in a good amount of surfers and photographers.

The 90% of the time i shoot in auto with the instax but i really should start making use of the other modes. The mini 90s model has a handful of really useful features and it’s a waste that i’m not attempting to use them more.

I also need to work on not taking up 70% of the frame when i try a selfie. No one needs to see that much of me in any photo.

I generally miss all the really great sunsets when i decide not to go out, it was refreshing to be enjoying this view with my camera.
I was all packed up and ready to head out when this scene just unraveled in front of us. Had i left a few minutes earlier or been a tad bit lazier i would have missed my favorite shot of the day.
