Rokinon 12mm F2.0 Lens at Waikiki Beach

Picked up a new lens for my Fuji XT1, in the hopes that this can tide me over until I can afford some of the sweet sweet Fujinon prime lenses on my wishlist.   Rokinon is a pretty solid 3rd party lens manufacturer.  They make high quality glass to compete with the big boys, and create a huge price drop from removing any electronics out of the lens.  It really requires a decent amount of extra work to manually focus everything, but if you already shoot with film cameras, it’s nothing new in the daily struggle to keep the analog style alive.

The lens elements as listed by the box.

Here are some sample images of our photo walk, most of which I got distracted and photographed my friends. Waikiki sunset on the beach and the strip at night.  Good times were had even if I didn’t really accomplish any prime landscape photos.
