So I know I’m not the only one that spends their trip eating, but sometimes I feel bad eating everything in sight and focusing every hang out around food. There are friends and family to see when I make my annual trip to San Jose, but it’s difficult to see them when food is blocking the view. I also found that editing photos on my current laptop is not the deals, the display is not accurate to what I’m used to.
It’s already been a minute since I returned from California so the memories aren’t as fresh, but I know one thing for sure, the extra weight is still hanging out. Perhaps if I manage to stay for a whole month, there will be more casual photos with everyone or of the scenes Norcal has to offer.
Practically all the food images shown here were taken with the 15mm Laowa Macro lens I picked up a while ago. I managed to drop by a lot of the usual spots that I have come to love and tried some new areas as well. Even the places that weren’t amazing, still had some pretty decent things to eat. I also randomly started drinking a new soda, Bundaberg Ginger beer is available everywhere in the city. It’s not so easy to come across in San Jose or back here in Hawaii.
My grandma’s house always has some nice flowers in bloom. I head there to enjoy the sites and fall asleep as she tells me wonderful stories of my family. It’s tough, she feels like I’m bored by her stories, but the environment is just so warm and cozy I can’t help it.
